The east coast is much less developed than the south or the west and Jungle Beach has been sensitively designed to make the most of the natural surroundings and nestles within the tree lined coast to offer a relaxing retreat at the end of your touring holiday. The sea on this coast tends to be calmer for swimming and is best visited from mid-March to October.
Facilities
The centrepiece is a two storey open-sided building that holds a restaurant, lobby and bar and is edged by a cooling pond. From here a wooden boardwalk leads out to a beautiful stretch of beach dotted with sun loungers and bordered by a simple bar & restaurant. The resort also has a gym and spa. The east is a wonderfully wild coast, explore further on the resort’s whale & dolphin watching, fishing and snorkelling tours.
Rooms
Each of the 48 jungle wrapped cabins is designed to sit camouflage-like within the natural surroundings and offer utmost privacy and seclusion. The hotel boasts 3 types of rooms either facing the beach, lagoon or jungle. All are spacious and luxuriously appointed with king sized bed, high-end entertainment system, Wi-Fi, safe, mini-bar, tea / coffee making facilities, private deck and outdoor rain shower (except Lagoon View).

The large main pool overlooks the beach through the hammock bearing coconut trees. The sea is OK for paddling, but 5 minutes further on you can swim. There are several al fresco dining options plus the Saltwater Pub. The glass-fronted wine cellar is often used as a fine dining restaurant. The in-house spa offers a range of massage and beauty treatments. There is also a fully equipped gym and tennis court.
