Throughout December you can expect weather that’s perfect whether you’re touring the country or relaxing on a beautiful beach with average highs up to 30°C in the main touring and beach destinations.
In Bagan and on Inle Lake the weather is more desert like with beautiful dry sunny days with little or no humidity and cool mornings and evenings that may mean you need a 2nd light layer at breakfast or at dinner. If travelling over Inle Lake late or early in the day, a more substantial layer and hat may be welcomed. The river water levels still remain high enough for you to enjoy a choice of cruises along the Irrawaddy.
