February continues the trend of hot and dry weather with relatively low humidity that makes touring surprisingly comfortable. River levels are starting to drop but the beaches are perhaps at their best during this month with temperatures averaging around 30°C.

The hills around Kalaw are revelling in day time temperatures in the high 20s°C perfect for hiking as low humidity, with just a slight chill over breakfast and dinner. Bagan and Inle Lake will also be enjoying temperatures in the high 20s°C but again an extra later may be needed in the morning before the day warms up. Mandalay and Yangon are hot and dry, t-shirt weather.
